Education
• I studied music at high to advanced higher level
• I then went on to study music at Motherwell College, where I got my HNC/HND
• I am returning to study 3rd year music at University in September
• I studied guitar up to grade 8 professional level
Experience
• I have played around 300 live gigs
• I have been playing guitar for 14 years
• I received weekly lessons since the age of 9
• I joined a band which I was a part of for 3 years
• In the band we played gigs in renound venues such as The King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, the Barrowlands (supporting a sold out gig with Bay City Rollers), Hamilton racecourse (with the View, Glasvegas and Indigo Velvet), Camden Academy in London
• I have played several music festivals up and down the country, including Carnival 56, Mhor Festival, Kendal Calling
• I have took part in several music videos
• I have played Glasgow Live on STV and took part in several interviews for TV and radio
• I played the Hard Rock Rising competition and won not only the Glasgow heat but the European Heat
• I have supported Deacon Blue at their New Year party in Stonehaven

Meet Joe
I am self taught player , I have been playing since I was 16 , I have played more gigs over the years than I care to think about. I have played gigs since I started playing at the age of 16, I have been in many band's and done a few recordings over the years, my music has always been a huge passion of mine , as well as guitar I can play drums , keyboards, bass guitar.
I have always been interested in sharing my knowledge and experience with others. My son is a big inspiration to moving into tutoring and I try to add some fun into my lessons!
